YouTube Sponsored Videos (PPC)
Written by alain on December 23, 2008
Despite sponsored videos still being so new there are already positive signs that it can become just as beneficial to Internet Marketers as Adwords.
Bearing in mind that YouTube is actually the 2nd largest search engine and the #3 most visited website in the world, it is quite clear for all to see that this new service has a huge potential for savvy Internet Marketers to make a killing!
But, how does it work?
It’s similar to Adwords, but for video. You bid on keywords, write ads and set yourself a daily budget.
Then, when people search on YouTube using one of your keywords your video will appear next to the search results under a section labeled “sponsored videos.”
You only pay when a user clicks to watch your video.
At this early stage you don’t have to stress about quality scores and landing pages and the costs can be a fraction of Adwords.
It’s kind of like what Adwords used to be a few years back.
